About Me
Hi, my name is Dana. I worked as a personal caregiver early and later became a physician. One thing became clear- we do not do death and dying well in medicine. And that is because dying is not a medical event, it is a human one. It is a social event; it is a sacred event.
I know we can do death better.
This is why I became an end-of-life (EOL) doula, planner, and educator. I am passionate about normalizing the narrative around death and dying and accompanying individuals and their loved ones through complicated illness and the dying journey. It is the heart-centered support that you deserve.
I am also a local hospice volunteer and a facilitator for the Humane Prison Hospice Project. I live in Mill Valley with my husband, teenage son and wild dog. I look forward to hearing from you.
